Phishing (in inglese) della settimana 48-2023
Recentemente, sono state segnalate diverse email sospette in lingua inglese che cercano di coinvolgere destinatari italiani in presunte opportunità finanziarie. È fondamentale essere consapevoli di queste minacce e saperle riconoscere per proteggere se stessi e la propria privacy.
Email 1: Da Mr. Calib Cassim – Eskom Holdings Ltd. SA
Nella prima email, un presunto rappresentante di Eskom Holdings Ltd. SA, Mr. Calib Cassim, propone un’occasione finanziaria vantaggiosa. Tuttavia, questa è una tipica truffa conosciuta come “truffa della nigeriana”, in cui l’autore chiede alla vittima di fungere da beneficiario di una somma di denaro ingente. Si consiglia di ignorare e eliminare immediatamente tali messaggi, evitando di condividere informazioni personali o effettuare pagamenti.
Email 2: Da TEMU – Programma di Fedeltà
La seconda email si presenta come un messaggio di congratulazioni per aver vinto un premio in un presunto programma di fedeltà. Questo è un classico esempio di phishing, mirato a ottenere informazioni personali attraverso un sondaggio fasullo. Mai cliccare su link sospetti e, in caso di dubbi, verificare direttamente con l’azienda coinvolta.
Email 3: Da Mrs. Tantiana Borisma – Richiesta di Assistenza Finanziaria
La terza email è un’apparente richiesta d’aiuto da parte di Mrs. Tantiana Borisma, una presunta malata di cancro. La storia triste è solo una copertura per persuadere la vittima a collaborare nel trasferimento di fondi. Si tratta di un’altra truffa sentimentale. Non rispondere e segnalare il messaggio come spam.
Email 4: Da Carolyn Marie – Vincita in un Concorso Facebook
La quarta email dichiara una presunta vincita in un concorso Facebook Social Giveaway. Questo è un altro esempio di truffa, in cui l’obiettivo è ottenere informazioni personali o denaro dalle vittime. Non rispondere e ignorare completamente il messaggio.
Email 5: Da Notifications# – Vincita alla Lotteria
Nella quinta email, si afferma che il destinatario ha vinto una somma considerevole alla lotteria. Questo è un classico esempio di truffa della lotteria, in cui la vittima è indotta a fornire informazioni personali o a effettuare pagamenti. Ignorare il messaggio e non fornire alcuna informazione.
Conclusioni: Come Proteggersi
È fondamentale essere vigili e diffidare di email che offrono opportunità improbabili o richiedono informazioni personali. Mai cliccare su link sospetti, non condividere dati personali e segnalare qualsiasi email sospetta come spam. L’istinto di diffidenza è il miglior alleato nella protezione contro queste truffe online.
